WECLOME TO HARVEST MINISTRIES
Harvest Ministries is committed to empowering local leaders who are passionate about evangelism, and about caring for orphans, widows and marginalized children. This is accomplished by:
- Providing education and training to equip and empower local leaders
- Mobilizing human and material resources to build facilities to house orphans and church communities
- Supporting education through school fee sponsorship
- Assisting with funds for medical emergencies
- Promoting spiritual wholeness for individuals
- Working towards independent and long-term sustainability
Harvest Ministries Sierra Leone is dedicated to making a difference to the overwhelming need of this poverty-ravaged country, especially to the orphans. Three pastors who are also chaplains in the army are addressing this need by welcoming orphans into their homes to supply them with a safe place to live, an education and an adequate diet. Each of these pastors is in the process of building or rebuilding housing damaged in the flooding and mudslides to be able to increase the number of orphans that can be assisted. There are also plans to build an orphanage.
